State and Tribal Air Quality System
The State and Tribal Air Quality System (STAQS) is being created by Gold Systems, Inc. in coordination with the Native American Environmental Protection Coalition (NAEPC) and the Eight Northern Indian Pueblos Council, Inc. Office of Environmental Technical Assistance (ENIPC OETA). STAQS is envisioned as a local data management and analysis system that will allow air quality program users to:
Manage program meta-data, such as personnel, monitoring sites, and monitoring equipment/samplers
Track monitoring equipment/sampler deployment history
Enter site sampler QA check data
Import site sampler and filter air quality monitoring data and validate it against QA check data
Validate/assess air quality monitoring data against standard tables and add flags and qualifiers
Periodically generate and submit AQS compatible data files to AQS via the EPA’s Exchange Network (EN).
STAQS will be accessible, along with other optional modules, from a new environmental suite portal; which is also under development at Gold Systems. The first version of STAQS is currently anticipated to be available Spring 2022, or shortly thereafter.
